:: Software Developers
Your job involves software design and development for a variety of customer projects that utilise Internet and wireless technologies.
You are open to new ideas and eager to learn about new technologies. You have extensive experience with programming, software design and components. You are able to work independently to find new solutions for different operating environments.
Required knowledge and skills:
Java programming (JSP, Servlets, J2ME and J2EE)
Understanding technologies and protocols (WAP, SMS and GPRS)
Understanding internet technologies (protocols, HTML, XML, etc.)
Basic knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
:: Project Manager
You have a few years of experience in managing software projects.
You are able to motivate a team of experts and achieve results on your own.
In addition to solid project management skills, you have technological expertise in areas such as Java and web technologies. You may have earlier experience with the above technologies as, for example, a software developer.
You are able to work at the customer interface in both Italian and English. Other language skills are seen as an asset. You also have the possibility to travel a few days a month. Your educational background is preferably a master’s degree in engineering or related subjects.
Based on project requirements, you will work with a project team of two to ten people, who are professional software developers. You will have effective project management methods and tools at your disposal. Your customers will be major Finnish or international corporations.
